On 2 August 2027 a total solar eclipse crosses Spain. It is the second of three — 2026, 2027, 2028 — and the sequence does not come round again this century.

Beyond the Eclipse is ten works built on one subject: the moment the sun goes out. Not the night sky in general, not planets, not stars. The eclipse itself — the ring, the shadow, the few minutes of wrong light. Oil and acrylic on canvas, and one photographic edition.

The collection spans a coffee cup catching the shape of an eclipse in a kitchen, a canvas two and a half metres wide dedicated to Fernando Pessoa, and an eclipse seen over the Empordà. From $315 to $19,980.
